Wholesale Cut-to-Length Lines

Home › Distributor & Integrator Section › Wholesale Cut-to-Length Lines

A cut-to-length line uncoils a steel coil, levels it and cuts it across into flat sheets of a set length, and we configure each one from your customer’s coil and sheet rather than from a fixed model list. It is a separate line from our steel coil slitting line, which cuts coil lengthwise into strip, so a distributor can offer both from one supplier. Our wider range is under tube mill manufacturer, and partner terms are under for distributors and integrators.

What to Send for a Cut-to-Length Quotation

  1. Coil: thickness, width and steel grade.
  2. Coil weight, and the inner and outer coil diameter.
  3. Sheet: the length range and the cut-to-length accuracy your customer needs.
  4. Output: line speed or output per shift.

Programme Scope and Who It Is For

The programme is for distributors and integrators who supply press shops and fabrication shops that work from flat sheet rather than coil. We build each cut-to-length line to the coil and sheet your customer specifies; where the same customer also needs strip for a tube mill or a roll forming line, the slitting side is covered by our wholesale coil slitting machines.

Configuration Tiers and What Each Tier Includes

A cut-to-length line is built around four sections: an uncoiler that pays off the coil, a leveller that takes out coil set, a measuring and cutting section that cuts the strip across to length, and a stacker that collects the sheets at the exit. We quote it as a complete line, from coil loading to sheet stacking, or as the cutting section alone — see our steel coil cutting machine — and the price follows the configuration your customer needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the dealer/partner programme include?

It covers cut-to-length lines configured to your customer’s coil and sheet, supplied as a complete line or as the cutting section alone, with our standard lead time and payment terms, engineers on site for installation and commissioning, and after-sales support from our service team.

What are typical lead times and payment terms?

Standard lines ship within 90 working days of the deposit, with plant-level customisation scheduled from our own manufacturing base. Payment is 30% by T/T on signing, 65% by T/T before shipment and 5% after installation and commissioning, or by L/C at sight; prices are quoted ex-works (EXW). The line is dismantled into units and shipped in containers: heavy frames are braced and secured, while precision parts and wear items travel in wooden cases together with a spare-parts pack.

Technical Support Provided

Our engineers travel to site to guide installation, commissioning and operator training; the buyer provides the installation crew and covers the engineers’ travel, lodging and daily allowance, and support continues online after handover.
