H Beam Welding Line — Web, Flange and High-Frequency Welding

An h-beam welding line produces welded H-sections from hot-rolled strip by high-frequency welding, to GOST R 58966-2020. Beam height 147–450 mm, flange width 80–350 mm, web and flange 4–16 mm, optionally to 20 mm.

Technical Specification Table

Strip grade decides the yield, tensile strength and weldability of the finished beam, so the grade on the coil and the welding practice are matched to each other.

Sections are given as H × B × t1 × t2: beam height, flange width, web thickness and flange thickness.

Line Configuration and Scope of Supply

The line takes hot-rolled strip in slit coil form and produces a welded H-section by high-frequency welding, across the section range in the table above. The slit coil it runs on can be prepared on our own coil slitting line.

Size Change, Roll Wear and Running Cost

The table above lists 90 sections, from 147 × 149 mm up to 450 × 200 mm; the first 80 are rated at not less than 20 t per hour, and output for the other ten is confirmed with the quotation. Changeover time between sections and tooling life are not given as fixed figures, because both depend on the section mix you plan to run; we state them against that list when we quote.

Hydraulic oil and grease are specified by us and purchased locally, so these consumables are not a supply-chain question.

Applications and Output Examples

The line runs on two 12-hour shifts, day and night, at not less than 20 t per hour for each of sections 1–80 and an annual capacity of not less than 100,000 t. Its welded H-beams go into steel-structure buildings and other load-bearing frames, and are produced to GOST R 58966-2020; see our guide to GOST R 58966-2020 for welded H-beams.

Delivery, Installation and Training

Standard lines ship within 90 working days of the deposit, with plant-level customisation scheduled from our own manufacturing base.

The line is dismantled into units and shipped in containers: heavy frames are braced and secured, while precision parts and wear items travel in wooden cases together with a spare-parts pack.

Our engineers travel to site to guide installation, commissioning and operator training; the buyer provides the installation crew and covers the engineers’ travel, lodging and daily allowance, and support continues online after handover.

Payment is 30% by T/T on signing, 65% by T/T before shipment and 5% after installation and commissioning, or by L/C at sight; prices are quoted ex-works (EXW).

Steel structure h beam machine

As a steel structure H-beam machine, the line supplies the welded H-sections that frame buildings and other load-bearing structures, in the 90 sizes listed above and in grades from С255 to Powerweld 460.

HFW H-beam production line

This is an HFW H-beam production line: web and flanges from hot-rolled slit coil are joined by high-frequency welding, giving beams 147–450 mm high with 4–16 mm web and flanges, optionally up to 20 mm.
