Large-Diameter Tube Mill Dealer Program — Project Configuration and Resale Support

Strip entering the forming section of an HG508 tube mill

For dealers, our large-diameter HFW tube mill comes in seven machine sizes, HG165 to HG630, covering finished pipe from Φ60 to Φ630 mm with walls from 3.0 to 16 mm. The windows overlap heavily at the lower end, so what separates adjacent steps is the top of the window, not the bottom. Smaller pipe, from Φ10 mm, is made on the small-diameter HFW tube mill; the whole range is under tube mill manufacturer, and partner terms are under for distributors and integrators.

Seven Steps, Welder Power and Wall

  1. Seven steps: HG165 HFW tube mill Φ60–165 · HG219 HFW tube mill Φ114–219 · HG273 HFW tube mill Φ114–273 · HG325 HFW tube mill Φ165–325 · HG426 HFW tube mill Φ165–426 · HG508 HFW tube mill Φ219–508 · HG630 Φ325–630 mm.
  2. Welder power: HG165 400 kW · HG219 500 kW · HG273 and HG325 600 kW · HG426 800 kW · HG508 1000 kW · HG630 1500 kW.
  3. Wall: HG165 3.0–7.0 mm · HG219 4.0–8.0 mm · HG273 to HG426 4.0–10.0 mm · HG508 and HG630 4.0–16.0 mm — wall is what separates steps that share a diameter.

Programme Scope and Who It Is For

The programme is for equipment distributors reselling large-diameter lines into their own market, regional agents representing the range over a longer period, and integrators building a large-diameter line into a larger plant project. At this end of the range many end buyers are energy and infrastructure contractors ordering against a technical standard and a delivery date.

Where the range meets the spiral line: above Φ630 mm, pipe is made on our SSAW spiral welded pipe mills, which run up to Φ1620 mm and overlap this family from Φ219 mm up. A spiral mill changes diameter by changing the forming angle and welds at 0.5–3 m/min, while a high-frequency line welds a straight seam continuously.

Configuration Tiers and What Each Tier Includes

Complete line or single unit, with pricing tiered by configuration reflecting scope. The unit train is the same on every step in this range: coil car, uncoiler with a pneumatic four-link expanding mandrel, strip-head opener, five-roller pinch leveller, automatic shear-welder, spiral accumulator, forming and sizing mill, high-frequency welder, flying saw and run-out table, with PLC and variable-frequency control.

Technical Support Provided

Our engineers travel to site to guide installation, commissioning and operator training; the buyer provides the installation crew and covers the engineers’ travel, lodging and daily allowance, and support continues online after handover. Our after-sales team handles enquiries.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the dealer/partner programme include?

What we offer: tiered configuration leaving resale margin, shipment within 90 working days of the deposit for standard lines, payment by T/T or L/C at sight, after-sales support from our service team, two to three of our engineers on site for installation and commissioning with the period set in the quotation, direct spare supply, and rolls machined in-house.

What are typical lead times and payment terms?

Standard lines ship within 90 working days of the deposit, with plant-level customisation scheduled from our own manufacturing base. Payment is 30% by T/T on signing, 65% by T/T before shipment and 5% after installation and commissioning, or by L/C at sight; prices are quoted ex-works (EXW). The line is dismantled into units and shipped in containers: heavy frames are braced and secured, while precision parts and wear items travel in wooden cases together with a spare-parts pack.
