For System Integrators
Wholesale & Trade Supply
Price, Scope & Factory

As an SSAW mill supplier to system integrators, we build the spiral welded pipe line, set out the supply scope, send our commissioning team and accept the line against an agreed test run. Our ssaw spiral welded pipe mill covers two classes, Φ219–820 mm and Φ219–1620 mm; our wider range is under tube mill manufacturer, and partner terms are under for distributors and integrators.
Commissioning, Acceptance and Standards
- Commissioning: five personnel — four engineers and an adjustment technician — over forty days.
- Acceptance: two pipe sizes, each running continuously and smoothly for four hours.
- Build time: 120 days for the Φ820 class and 150 days for the Φ1620 class.
- Inspection on the Φ1620 class: X-ray, a 1200-tonne hydrostatic tester and offline ultrasonic testing, set out station by station in our ssaw inspection chain.
- Standards: GB/T 9711 on both classes, with GB/T 5037 on the Φ820 class and API 5L on the Φ1620 class — see gb/t 9711 for spiral welded line pipe.
Programme Scope and Who It Is For
The programme is for integrators building a turnkey spiral pipe plant for an end customer: the main line, the finishing and inspection equipment and the bought-in ancillaries are quoted as one scope, installed under our engineers and accepted on an agreed test run. Above Φ630 mm, where our straight-seam lines stop, the spiral line takes over — our large-diameter ssaw line covers pipe to Φ1620 mm, and ssaw vs hfw pipe mill sets out where the two routes overlap.
Configuration Tiers and What Each Tier Includes
The tiers are the two line classes. The Φ1620 class carries edge milling with a Φ500 cutter head at up to 190 m/min, outer-double inner-single submerged arc welding on imported DC and AC welding power sources, and a finishing train of 225 kV X-ray, a 1200-tonne hydrostatic tester and offline ultrasonic testing. The Φ820 class runs outer-single inner-single welding on domestic power sources, with a smaller X-ray unit and a 300-tonne hydrostatic tester in its finishing train. Both classes form the pipe across a forming angle 39°–80°.
We supply a complete line or single units, and a spiral welded pipe mill price follows the class and the scope you choose.
Commercial Terms: Lead Time, Payment and Incoterms
A spiral line is built in 120 days for the Φ820 class and 150 days for the Φ1620 class, and the shipment date is set in the quotation. Payment is 30% by T/T on signing, 65% by T/T before shipment and 5% after installation and commissioning, or by L/C at sight; prices are quoted ex-works (EXW). The line is dismantled into units and shipped in containers: heavy frames are braced and secured, while precision parts and wear items travel in wooden cases together with a spare-parts pack.
Support and Spare-Parts Supply
Spares — the wear parts of a spiral line are its own list: plasma torch tips, edge-milling inserts and the Φ500 cutter head, forming, pressure, pre-bending and levelling rolls, facing tools with twelve clamping dies, ultrasonic probes and reference blocks, and the X-ray tube. The Φ130 pressure rolls are GCr15 hardened to HRC 56–60, and the feeding, straightening and vertical rolls are 42CrMo hardened to HRC 52–58; spare parts ship direct.
Support — our engineers travel to site to guide installation, commissioning and operator training; the buyer provides the installation crew and covers the engineers’ travel, lodging and daily allowance, and support continues online after handover.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the integrator programme include?
For integrators the programme is scope, commissioning and acceptance rather than a partner agreement: a complete line or single units, our commissioning team on site, and acceptance on two pipe sizes, each running continuously and smoothly for four hours.
What are typical lead times and payment terms?
A spiral line is built in 120 days for the Φ820 class and 150 days for the Φ1620 class, and the shipment date is set in the quotation; commissioning on site is a separate period that follows delivery. Payment is 30/65/5 by T/T or by L/C at sight, ex-works.
Which configuration tiers are available and what changes between them?
Two classes, Φ820 and Φ1620. The Φ1620 class adds edge milling, an outer-double inner-single weld arrangement and offline ultrasonic testing, and steps the finishing train up from a smaller X-ray unit and a 300-tonne hydrostatic tester to 225 kV X-ray and a 1200-tonne tester.
How are spare parts and rolls supplied after handover?
Rolls are machined in-house on our own CNC, and spares ship direct rather than back through the original project channel. Torch tips and milling inserts wear by cutting and milling volume, so they are worth holding as a standing order.
What technical support do partners receive?
An after-sales team and online support, with our engineers on site for installation, commissioning and operator training; the buyer covers their travel, lodging and daily allowance.
Spiral pipe production line price
For a spiral pipe production line price, send us the pipe diameter and wall thickness range, the steel grade, the pipe length, the standard the pipe is ordered to and the output you need; we quote the line class, the finishing and inspection equipment and the bought-in ancillaries as separate items, ex-works (EXW).
Spiral pipe mill manufacturer
As a spiral pipe mill manufacturer, we build both classes to GB/T 9711, with X-ray and ultrasonic acceptance referencing GB/T 9711-2017; the Φ1620 class also lists API 5L as an execution standard, with ultrasonic testing configured to API SPEC 5L (46th edition), and X-ray image quality specified to ISO 10893-7 single-wall class B and GB/T 26830-2011. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
