What Is Furniture & Fence Tube Production
Furniture and fence tube production lines make small-diameter straight-seam welded carbon steel tube, round, square or rectangular, for furniture frames, fencing and home products. The steel strip is roll formed, welded by high-frequency induction, sized and cut; what sets this work apart is that the finished surface and corner lines are part of what the buyer sells.
Target Pipe Sizes and Wall Thickness for This Application
Furniture and fence tube sits on the five lower steps of the welded tube family, HG32 to HG114, covering Φ10 to Φ114 mm with walls of 0.5 to 5.0 mm; the full family runs to Φ630 mm.
Where a painted finish is part of the product, an auto spray paint line for tube & pipe can follow the mill for square tube from 25 × 25 to 125 × 125 mm; round furniture tube falls outside its window.

Mill Model and Welder Power Band
The mill is chosen by the largest finished diameter and wall the plant will make, and welder power follows the step: 150 kW on HG32, 200 kW on HG50, 250 kW on HG76 and 300 kW on HG89 and HG114.
Surface Quality Is a Forming Question First
On furniture tube every forming defect shows. Squeeze and seam alignment decide whether the weld bead is clean or shows offset and flash; sizing and straightening decide dimension and straightness; and roll material and heat treatment decide whether corner lines stay sharp and diameters stay put as the rolls wear.
Furniture and fence work is usually many sizes in modest quantities, so changeover time and the consistency of the first tubes after a size change matter more than the largest diameter a mill can reach.
Fence Tube: Which Line Step Makes It
A fence pipe making machine is a lower-step welded tube mill: posts, rails and pickets in the sizes normally used are small-diameter round, square or rectangular carbon steel tube, which is what HG32 to HG114 produce. The step is set by the largest post section in the range, and smaller rails and pickets run on the same mill after a size change.
Applicable Standards and Inspection Requirements
Furniture and fence tube is made to the buyer’s own product specification. An ordinary high-frequency welded line carries no in-line NDT; final inspection is the catching step, and on this product it covers surface, corner lines and straightness as well as dimension.

The line is dismantled into units and shipped in containers: heavy frames are braced and secured, while precision parts and wear items travel in wooden cases together with a spare-parts pack.
Our engineers travel to site to guide installation, commissioning and operator training; the buyer provides the installation crew and covers the engineers’ travel, lodging and daily allowance, and support continues online after handover. Our after-sales team handles enquiries.
Payment is 30% by T/T on signing, 65% by T/T before shipment and 5% after installation and commissioning, or by L/C at sight; prices are quoted ex-works (EXW).
