Price, Scope & Factory

Purlin machine price follows the supply scope, so we quote it against what the line includes rather than as a single figure. The line is a semi-automatic C/Z interchangeable purlin roll forming machine: one tooling set produces multiple sizes by stepless adjustment, and the line punches, cuts and forms automatically at up to 20 m/min on 2–4 mm strip, through an 18-pass forming section with hydraulic punching and cutting. Our wider range is under tube mill manufacturer, and partner terms are under for distributors and integrators.
What the Purlin Line Does, and How It Ships
- C/Z interchangeable, multiple sizes from one tooling set by stepless adjustment.
- Forming speed up to 20 m/min, material 2–4 mm.
- 18 forming passes with hydraulic punching and cutting.
- Cold forming, no welding — the structural difference from the welded pipe lines.
- Shipment within 90 working days of the deposit for standard lines; payment by T/T (30/65/5) or L/C at sight.
What a Purlin Machine Price Is Built From
A quotation is built from the scope you need: the complete line or individual machines, the purlin sizes and hole patterns to be covered, and any spare tooling.
The complete line is made up of a strip guide and leveling unit, an 18-pass roll forming machine with quick changeover, two hydraulic punching units, a hydraulic stepless-adjustment and cutting unit, an electrical control system with an industrial PLC and variable-frequency drive, and the hydraulic station. Configuration and specifications are set out under C, Z & Ω purlin roll forming line.
Configuration Tiers and What Each Tier Includes
Within this family, a tier is defined by the forming section — 18 passes with hydraulic punching and cutting — and by the tooling: forming rolls in bearing steel, finished after quenching, and dies and cutters in quenched Cr12. We supply the complete line or a single unit, with pricing tiered by configuration to reflect scope.
The line runs from the control panel: the operator enters purlin length, hole pitch and quantity, and the machine punches, forms and cuts automatically. Changing size is a stepless adjustment rather than a roll change, as described under purlin line size change.
Commercial Terms: Lead Time, Payment and Incoterms
Standard lines ship within 90 working days of the deposit, with plant-level customisation scheduled from our own manufacturing base. Payment is 30% by T/T on signing, 65% by T/T before shipment and 5% after installation and commissioning, or by L/C at sight; prices are quoted ex-works (EXW). The line is dismantled into units and shipped in containers: heavy frames are braced and secured, while precision parts and tooling travel in wooden cases together with a spare-parts pack.
Support and Spare Tooling
Forming rolls are bearing steel, finished after quenching, and dies and cutters are quenched Cr12; rolls are machined in-house on our own CNC equipment. One set of dies and cutters ships with the line, Cr12 dies and cutters can be supplied as they are reground or replaced, and other spare parts ship direct.
Our engineers travel to site to guide installation, commissioning and operator training; the buyer provides the installation crew and covers the engineers’ travel, lodging and daily allowance, and support continues online after handover.
Where the Purlin Line Sits Against the Rest of the Range
Purlin forming is cold forming with no welding at all: the strip is bent progressively through 18 passes into an open C, Z or Ω section and then punched and cut hydraulically. That is the structural difference from the welded pipe lines we build, so welding parameters and welder power play no part in a purlin line quotation.
Material thickness, line speed and output are confirmed against your profile section, steel grade and finished length at quotation. Send us those three and we will state the figures.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are typical lead times and payment terms?
Standard lines ship within 90 working days of the deposit, with plant-level customisation scheduled from our own manufacturing base. Payment is 30% by T/T on signing, 65% by T/T before shipment and 5% after installation and commissioning, or by L/C at sight; prices are quoted ex-works (EXW).
Which configuration tiers are available and what changes between them?
We supply the complete line or a single unit. Within this family a tier covers the 18-pass forming section with hydraulic punching and cutting, and the tooling set; size changes are made by stepless adjustment rather than by changing rolls, so one line covers the range of sizes you run.
How are spare parts and rolls supplied after handover?
Forming rolls are bearing steel, finished after quenching, and dies and cutters are quenched Cr12, all machined in-house on our own CNC equipment; spare parts ship direct.
What support comes with a purlin line?
Engineers on site to guide installation, commissioning and operator training, with the buyer covering their travel, lodging and daily allowance; online support after handover; our after-sales team for enquiries; and spare parts shipped direct.
Purlin forming machine price
For a purlin forming machine price, send the profile type and drawing, the material thickness and grade, the hole pitch and length range, and the spread of sizes you expect to run; we quote the complete line or individual machines against that scope, ex-works (EXW). Our cold roll forming equipment is CE marked under the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, covering C, Omega, Zeta and Z purlin sections as well as other open and closed profiles. Distributors and agents will find partner terms in our roll forming dealer program.
